Milan

From Verona we went straight to Milan, the city full of history and full of stores. The first thing we did, unfortunately for me, was to visit the Duomo and its roof. It is an amazing experience if you are not afraid of heights. However, it is truly worth it. You can observe from a really close distance, the amazing guglie and details that give the Duomo its famous gothic aspect.
From there, we visited the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery and, for more luck, we took the three mandatory spins on the bull’s testicles.
Then, we visited the Sforza castle, where we were able to visit the Pietas. In addition, there are wonderful gardens in the back.
After visiting the Castle, we decided we had enough of culture and we just went shopping.
I really enjoy visiting Milan, especially during the holiday season. As a matter of fact, the stores put up a show in their windows in order to attract more customers. Of course, those are shops I will never afford, but it’s still nice to. See the work of art the windows are.
